Returning to a Place That Helped Shape the Journey
Some ministry opportunities are meaningful because of the message they share. Others are meaningful because of the people God uses to shape our lives along the way. Our recent trip to Amarillo was both.
Ashley and I had the privilege of returning to Pathpoint Fellowship Church, where Ashley faithfully served in college. Being welcomed back by her Uncle Scott and Aunt Missy, along with a church family that has been such an important part of her story, made the weekend especially meaningful. It was a reminder of how God uses faithful churches and faithful people to prepare us for the calling He has placed on our lives.
Friday evening, Ashley spoke at the women's gathering, sharing a message of hope, healing, and trusting God through every season of life. Seeing her stand before women in a church that helped shape her own faith journey was a full-circle moment that only God could orchestrate. Her testimony and the message of True North continue to point women toward the unchanging hope found in Jesus Christ.
On Saturday morning, I had the honor of speaking at the Men's Breakfast. We spent time discussing biblical manhood, the battles men face, and the importance of living authentically before God. We talked about the masks men often wear, the fears they carry, and the freedom that comes when we surrender those burdens to Christ. The conversations that followed were just as meaningful as the message itself, as men shared their stories and encouraged one another in their walk with the Lord.
What stood out most throughout the weekend was God's faithfulness. Years ago, Ashley served within this church. Today, we returned together as co-founders of Boland Ministries, sharing the work God has called us to do. Looking back, it is clear that God was preparing us long before we understood where He was leading.
We are incredibly thankful to Uncle Scott, Aunt Missy, and the entire Pathpoint Fellowship Church family for their hospitality, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel. Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a special weekend.
As we continue the work of Boland Ministries, we remain committed to our mission of bringing people closer to Jesus Christ through discipleship, service, and biblical truth. We are grateful for every church that opens its doors, every conversation that points someone toward Christ, and every opportunity to serve together.
Please continue praying for our ministry as God opens new doors. We pray that every message shared, every relationship built, and every life touched will bring glory to Him alone.
